I mean, do I even need to explain why I bought this palette? I love neutral palettes, but especially neutral palettes that use the colour red and lots of glitter! This palette was right up my alley, and as I’ve never used Ace Beauté before I was really excited to try it out! Did I like this palette?

I’m not going to dwell too long on this palette. Though it looks really beautiful and the shades are nice, they are horrible on the lid! They don’t blend well, are incredibly patchy and it takes me a lot of work to make the shades look nice. I like the shimmery shades, but they don’t have a lot of oompf to them, the entire palette is a lot more toned down when you apply it to your lids. I’m not very hard on eyeshadow, I don’t mind fallout, I don’t mind it being slightly patchy, I don’t mind working for a palette, but I do have boundaries and this palette is just too much work for what it is! I’ve never used a palette that is as patchy as this one, and it makes using this palette more of a pain than a joy.
Though I like the idea of this palette, it just isn’t good enough for me. If you are any darker than me, this won’t be a great palette for you either, as the crease shades are very light, some even too light for me!
All in all, it’s a great idea, just not executed well!
