Review: Too Faced Sweet Peach Lipgloss in Tickle me Peach

Lip products are my favourite sort of makeup. But that also means that I have really high expectations of lip products, so today I’m going to talk about the Sweet Peach Lipgloss!

Pucker up with our silky, smooth, peach oil-infused lip gloss that smells and tastes like fresh picked peaches.

  • Infused with the skin-loving essence of peach, coconut oil, and vitamin E
  • 8 shades of nudes, peachy pinks, and corals
  • Moisture-rich formula feels lightweight and creamy – Too Faced website

Now, first of all, this colour looks horrible on me. That won’t affect my review, I will talk about it’s performance, just know that I really dislike the colour! ๐Ÿ™‚ย  To me it looks way too 1960s pale on me, I think this colour would look lovely on deeper skintones and people who have a more deeper yellow undertone, but on me it just looks bad, it makes my teeth look more yellow and looks really orange on me, even though it’s described as a rosy coral.

This lipgloss is a milky type gloss, which means it’s quite opaque in colour, but unfortunately, it’s really patchy! No matter how much you apply or how carefully, it looks really patchy, which is such a shame. It does apply nicely, it has really great colour pay off, but the patchiness is really obvious. It emphasizes my fine lines as well, which just isn’t something for me.

When you apply this you are immediately hit with the incredibly sweet smell of this.ย  It reminds me of Pez candy, but worse. I really hate the scent of it, it doesn’t smell like peaches at all, it’s way too sweet and unfortunately, it lingers on for a really long time. If you are sensitive to scents, please, don’t even try these, you will regret it.

However, this has amazing staying power for a lipgloss. It will live through lunch (I mean, be realistic, don’t eat a burger it wouldn’t last!) and doesn’t transfer as much, but again it’s a gloss so there’s always a bit of transfer. It is incredibly hydrating as well, when you apply it you can feel the hydration tingle on your lips, and it makes your lips super soft.

I would totally recommend this for it’s hydrating properties, but other than that, I don’t think this is worth it’s money. Maybe if it’s on a really good sale I’d recommend getting this lipgloss, but really buy these in person, as the colours are way different in person than they are online. It isn’t THAT expensive, but I still feel like it’s too expensive for a gloss that’s patchy and has a disgusting smell.

Have you tried any of the peach lipglosses? ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Lasting colour is a pretty big factor for me so I tend to shy away from glosses. But then, I also have dryer lips so it’s kind of a bummer with anything matte. This sounded good until you mentioned the scent, like why, I hate strong scents, especially one near my nose ๐Ÿ˜‚ I’ll try it when I find it on sale or something though.

    1. Honestly be warned, I don’t mind scents and if I’m getting a headache from it… it’s a real shame as it’s so incredibly hydrating!!! I hope it works out for you ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š
