Review: Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Setting Spray

I really liked the hangover primer by Too Faced, so I wanted to try their setting spray as well! Did I like it as much as the primer?

A weightless 3-in-1 coconut water-infused mist that primes, sets and refreshes makeup while keeping skin hydrated.

  • Hydrates and brightens skin
  • Perfect for all-day use and mid-day refresher
  • Soothes and smooths skin
  • Can be used as a primer, setting spray, and refresher
  • 100%* said makeup went on smoother, looked flawless, didn’t transfer, and felt hydrated

So first off, this REALLY smells like coconut. I don’t like it personally, but if you LOVE that scent, this would be a joy for you! It has a very, very fine mist, which makes me feel like I’m not applying anything on my skin, which is really odd when applying setting spray, I like to feel the product on my face so I can actually feel like it sets it. This might just be personal preference, but because I couldn’t really feel it on my skin, I was always afraid I skipped whole parts of my face.

My skin didn’t look any better after using this one, though. And oddly enough, it doesn’t hydrate my skin as much as the MAC Fix+, and that one isn’t even made for dry skin like this one is. The primer is on a different level as the primer, which is such a shame! Especially for it’s price, this just isn’t it. It’s all right, but not the best.

I’m highly disappointed in this setting spray, it doesn’t make my makeup last longer, doesn’t hydrate, and doesn’t make my makeup melt into my skin. I use this one for my days where I only use makeup for a few hours, but for an all day setting spray, this isn’t it. I don’t know who these 100% people are, because I want to know how they used it to be that amazing! 😉

Have you tried this setting spray? Did you like it?
