Ok, I haven’t blogged in a while. I haven’t been in a good place, AND due to money issues I couldn’t buy anymore makeup, which means less reviews! But, I’m trying to get back into it, because I LOVE blogging, it’s one the things I love to do most. To get back into it, I’m going to start out with a tag today! 🙂
1. Which book, most recently, did you not finish?
Funnily enough, after DNF’ing my first 2 books last month, I don’t tend to DNF anything easily I want to finish everything I start, I found another one this month!
I really wanted to expand my Penguin Library collection, and this one was described as the scariest book ever (even Steven King himself said that this book was terrifying) but I just thought it boring, there’s nothing special about it and how this ever shocked anyone, is just life’s greatest mystery.
2. Which book is your guilty pleasure?
First of all, there’s no such thing as a guilty pleasure, thank you. But I guess the books that are nothing like my usual reading tastes are the Miss Silver books by Patricia Wentworth, they are romance motivated, which isn’t something I like reading about! I’ve got some reviews on the books here!
3. Which book do you love to hate?
I mean, I didn’t go into this book expecting to hate it, but I still have my copy just because I don’t want anyone else to read this crap! 😉 I’ve got a review about it if you want to know why I hate this one so much! It’s an old one, so please go easy on me!
4. Which book would you throw into the sea?
If I could make Breakfast at Tiffany’s disappear with this action, for ever, than yes, totally Breakfast at Tiffany’s!
5. Which book have you read the most?
Little Women! I own two copies, one in Dutch and one in English, and it’s my favourite story ever! And yes, I’ve got a review on it too! 😉
6. Which book would you hate to receive as a present?
I think I would hate getting expensive books, you know how many books you could’ve got for the same price!?!
7. Which book could you not live without?
Ahh, this one is a hard one! I want to say Little Women, but I’ve got a book that I received from my grandparents for my 8th birthday, with answers to all the questions I could ever have as a child. Unfortunately, my grandpa isn’t with us anymore, but he wrote in that book and every time I open the book and read what he wrote for me, I start crying!
8. Which book made you the angriest?
Ok, obviously, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, but I’ll be a good sport and say something else instead this time.
This BUTT of a book is the bloody worst book I have read in a really long time. The writing was utterly horrible, and even the synopsis of the book didn’t safe it from being badly written. How this one ever got to be a classic is seriously BEYOND me. Why??
9. Which book made you cry the most?
Little Women, for sure! If I read a certain name, after a certain event, I kept on crying until the end of the book, haha!
10. Which book cover do you hate the most?
Luckily for me, I never buy books I don’t think look pretty, because I’m here for those aesthetics!
This is the end of the tag! I love doing tags, because I can do what I do best, ramble!
Ditto to the expensive books as gifts! hahaha I would rather have lots of used but good conditioned books lol
