Mask Monday: Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack

Sleeping packs aren’t something widely popular now, but I was intrigued. Isn’t a sleeping pack just a night moisturizer? So, when I made my order from Little Wonderland, I ordered this sleeping pack to try out!

A sleeping pack containing organic Jeju fresh green tea to keep your skin moisturized and clear while sleeping!
Get more moisture and freshness with organic Jeju green tea and green tea seeds.

1. Dual Moisture-Rising Technology™ derived from organic green tea and green tea seed oil
Green tea extracted from fresh green tea leaves harvested on Jeju Island is rich in amino acids and minerals that help keep the skin moisturized. Seed oil preserves moisture under the skin for an extended period to prevent drying.

2. Natural green tea antioxidants
The nutrition capsules, filled with natural ingredients, provide antioxidants to your skin and quickly brighten skin tone. – Innisfree US website

This is a very interesting product. You apply this on top of your night moisturizer, for an extra boost of hydration. It may look really white, but it is colourless once applied. The texture is like that of a gel, it’s really nice and refreshing! I really like applying this onto my skin, as it feels really cooling and absorbs really quickly, which I didn’t expect at all! I expected it to be tacky and stay that way all night, but it absorbs into the skin and isn’t sticky at all, it feels more like a protective barrier that you can still feel in the morning.

This mask is really nice, usually I wake up with dry skin, but when I use this my skin is really nicely hydrated the next day. My makeup applies a lot more smoothly, more easily and looks better overall when I use this the night before, which is always a nice plus! My skin does look more bright, less red and more radiant after I use this and I’m really loving that concept.

The idea of a sleeping mask is still a bit odd to me, not because of what it is, but because it kind of feels like you could just get a better night moisturizer if you need a sleeping mask, if you know what I mean. However, I do really like this and do recommend it if you are in need of a hydrating and calming mask that doesn’t break the bank!
