There are two things I can’t live without; a good lipstick and some good eyeshadows. I’ve been trying out this Violet Voss eyeshadow palette for a few months now, and the only reason I’m only now reviewing is that I don’t want to put this away in my “all ready reviewed” cabinet! But today is the day, I’m going to review it!

This is a palette with my name all over it. reds, oranges, champagnes, with mattes and shimmers. Also, there’s a shade that’s called R U Kitten Me, so I HAD to have it! I don’t use all the shades with the same equality, I’m not going to pretend I am, but if I need to do my makeup for work and I need eyeshadow that will stay put for a solid 10 hours without creasing, I wil wear this (with a good primer of course). Granted, I wear the same look, but if it works it works ok!
These are the shades I wear most often, Crystal and Ploof are really nice glittery shades, they apply really nicely and have some nice pigment to them, not too much, but enough.
Hashtag and R U Kitten Me are really nice matte shades that blend really nicely. I notice no fall out with any of the shades, but they are a little bit powdery, so after frequent use your palette will look like a mess, but honestly, what palette doesn’t after continuous use?
I prefer to only use really light shades on my lid, and the darker glitter shades are a bit too dark for me, but they are really nice, personal preference to colour doesn’t mean that the palette isn’t good, because it IS.
I understand why this palette is called the Holy Grail palette, it has everything that I need in a palette, nice warm shades, enough mattes and shimmers to make lots of combinations.
If you want to get a nice warm toned palette, I really recommend this one, it’s totally worth it’s money (I mean, look how many shades you get!) and they blend really nicely! Honestly, I’ve got nothing bad to say about this palette, which makes for a very boring review, but hey! There you have it folks, have you tried anything from Violet Voss?
I have this and the drenched metals and I would say they are ok. Nothing too flirting though

So the drenched metals one isn’t worth it in your opinion? 🤔 might not get that one then!

Yeah not really, it’s OK but I can literally dupe it out easily with about ten other palettes in my collection.
