Did you notice it’s actually starting to get hard to find a good lipgloss? The drugstores here don’t really sell them anymore so, when I saw this one in a drugstore I decided to try it out!

plump up! menthol ingredients give this new lipgloss a visible volume effect, and the featherlight formula can also be applied as a topcoat on top of any lipstick.

There’s not much to go on with that description, but I’ve tried a plumping lipgloss before, so I figured they are all the same. This product has a very strong menthol scent to it. It does warn you on the tube not to use this on sensitive or irritated skin, and I agree, because of the scent it might hurt you.

This lipgloss has barely any colour to it, despite it’s bright red in the tube! Honestly, you can’t see it on my lips, and my lips aren’t that naturally pigmented. The scent is overpowering and it doesn’t do any plumping at all. I wouldn’t wear this lipgloss on it’s own, because it doesn’t have any colour it, and the whole point for me personally to wear a lip product, is to not show my own lip colour. It might be a better lipgloss to go over top a lipstick, but this doesn’t what it promises.

Honestly, just get the Soap and Glory Sexy Motherpucker Lipgloss, that actually does what it promises and does have some colour to it. I don’t recommend you getting this one, even though it is really cheap! There just better ones out there.
