Lipstick Thursday: Bobbi Brown Nourishing Lip Color in Uber Rose

Oops, I bought another Bobbi Brown lipstick. I was so in awe with the Lip Tint that when I went to a Bobbi Brown event, I bought another lipstick from them. But did this lipstick impress me as much as the other one?

What does it promise?

A nourishing wash of color for lips that’s infused with a luxurious blend of Avocado, Babassu and Jojoba Oils, plus Olive Oil Complex, Cocoa Seed Butter and Vitamins C and E—together, they treat lips with deep hydration while creating a barrier that locks in moisture. The potent formula conditions instantly and over time, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for smooth, supple lips. Rich color pigments are suspended in a lightweight, clear base for pure, crisp color with a brilliant, even finish.

Very bold claims from “just” a lipstick. But honestly, it is really moisturizing. I bought this particular colour because it is a lipstick dupe for the MAC Galaxy Rose lipgloss, which was part of the Christmas collection of 2016. That lipgloss quickly became my favourite lipgloss, but as it is a Limited Edition, I didn’t want to use it up too soon. Anyways, back to the lipstick!

The lipstick is insanely smooth and feels really moisturizing on the lips, but because it is, it feathers out a bit, so I recommend using a lipliner with it.

I love, love, LOVE, the colour, it’s a dark rosey pink, which would probably suit everyone, no matter skintone or undertone. As you can tell, the lipstick is very shiny, because it is so moisturizing.

I can’t comment on the claim that it improves your lips, maybe if you only use these lipsticks you would notice a difference.

Long story short: I really love this lipstick. If you struggle with dry lips and lipsticks, this would be a perfect match for you! Definitely worth a try, especially if you love the MAC Lipglass in Galaxy Rose.
