Review: Maybelinne Color Tattoo 24h in 65 & 70

Eye shadow is great, it can transform yourself to a whole new person. You can rock a smokey eye, or really subtle to have more of a doll look. It’s amazing how a little pot of pigment can do all that!
I tried these two Color Tattoo eye shadows in the colours 65 Pink Gold and 70 Metallic Pomegranate, so let’s start!

The Color Tattoo eyeshadows are a creamy gel eyeshadow, so they tell me it’s :

“• Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting color saturation
• Cream formula glides on without creasing and keeps color vibrant” (x)

As you can probably tell, I use the number 70 Metallic Pomegranate as an eyeliner. It’s a really nice purple/brown shade with specs of golden glitter. It reminded me of a creamy (and lighter) version of the MAC eye shadow in the shade Beauty Marked. Only in the pan though, because they swatch really differently.
I use Pink Gold as an all over colour, and it’s a really pretty rosy pink with really nice metallic finish.

This is how they swatched. The Metallic Pomegranate applies a bit chunky and less smoothly as the Pink Gold one. Pink Gold is also more intense in colour than Pome. They are a dream to apply with your fingers though, because of the creamier consistency.
The colour isn’t something to complain about, they are really nice and vibrant and full of colour. Especially, again, Pink Gold shows it off.

But now the question of all questions: “Do they last 24 hours?”
Short answer: no.
They last a really long time without primer though, which is a good thing, but definitely not 24 hours. Not that I would want to have makeup on my face for 24 hours, but you might! They last longer when you use them as an overal colour as opposed to just eyeliner, it tends to rub off easily that way.
They are good basis eye shadows and really worth a try!
