Review: L’Oréal Paris La Palette Nude

Do you want to buy a drugstore eyeshadow palette, but don’t know where to start? Then I hope this review will help you out!

I love eyeshadow palettes, they give you many colours to play around with, and they almost always match with each other! Also helps with clutter, and it’s always cheaper than buying individual eyeshadows, long story short, they are great. But it can be quite hard to find the right ones, because almost all brands have started bringing theirs out. It’s difficult for lil’ ol’ me to buy the proper ones (they only RECENTLY started selling Urban Decay in the Netherlands, I mean, we are about 10 years behind on the beauty front seriously), so here we are trying to find the right drugstore ones! I reviewed the Maybelline The Smokes Palette, which had some lovely colours, but today we are going for them Nudes.

The palette has got some matte ones, and a couple of shimmery eyeshadows. Personally, I like shimmer the best, but they are all really nice. The only colour that seems a bit off, is the far right one, the black/brown. It just seems too dark compared to the others.

Not all shades are equally as pigmented, but they are still very good. I especially like the second colour, it is just so nice!! The more matte colours do feel a bit chalky, which is a bit of a letdown, they also don’t pick up that much pigment on the brush, the colours shine through the best when you use your fingers to apply them.  They also start creasing at the end of the day, which is ok if you are like me and don’t go out at night, but if you put your makeup on at 8am and will need it to stay put until about 10pm, it does become an issue. But, nothing a good primer can’t help!
